Dietitian Service
Service Overview
The Dietitian service is a free, community based service providing assessment and treatment options and support for nutrition-related health problems, in particular for those with Diabetes, Obesity and/or Heart Disease conditions.A personalised Nutrition Care Plan and goals will be developed after a comprehensive assessment, and follow up visits will be arranged for on-going support and monitoring of progress.
We will assist you and your whānau towards better health, wellbeing, productivity and lifestyle. The Dietitian accepts referrals from Health Professionals including your GP or Specialist, other community organisations, and whānau.
