Before School Check Coordinator

Part-Time, 16 hours per week – Flexibility for the days worked

We are seeking a motivated registered nurse to support the delivery of the B4 School Check at Te Manu Toroa. The B4 School Check is a universal, comprehensive screening and health education opportunity for children/tamariki turning four years old and their parent(s)/guardian.

The B4SC Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the check, and any resulting referrals, in the BOPDHB area. Training for the B4SC is provided including the use of the B4SC database.

This role supports the clinical team to complete the required number of checks for our enrolled population. This will include contacting families to make appointments, data entry, liaising with Te Manu Toroa clinical staff and the BOPDHB B4SC Coordinator.

The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with flexibility for the days worked.
