Hāpainga Stop Smoking Services
Smoking cessation is a journey to wellness and we are here to help. Hāpainga Stop Smoking is a free service, available to Western Bay of Plenty residents wanting to stop smoking.
Our Quit Smoking Practitioner will work with individuals and/or groups to meet your needs and develop a Quit Smoking Plan that works for you. The practitioner will visit in the community, at locations convenient to you such as home, the Marae, work or drop-in clinics.
We provide free nicotine patches, gum or lozenges to ease the cravings and assist you with achieving your smoke-free aspirations.
Referrals are accepted from health professionals including your GP or Specialist, other community organisations, whānau or self referrals.
Everyone who lives or works in the Bay of Plenty region are eligible.
Our Stop Smoking Service covers the Western Bay of Plenty region.
This service is free of charge for all eligible persons.
