About the Position
Te Manu Toroa is based in the sunny Bay of Plenty and has three clinics operating in Tauranga, Pāpāmoa and Te Puke area, providing low cost access kaupapa Māori services within the community.
We are a visionary, forward-thinking and progressive general practice looking to recruit a full or part time registered nurse with experience working in the general practice. This position is 32 – 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The role requires the nurse to have strong triage and assessment skills and the ability to provide high quality care.
We are Cornerstone accredited practice, fully computerised on Medtech32 and have an established patient base.
Essential Skills:
- • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
• Current Indemnity Insurance
• Intermediate computer skills
• Resuscitation Level 4
Desirable Additional Qualifications:
- • Vaccinator Certificate
• Cervical smear taker
• B4 School CheckIn addition, experience and understanding of working with Māori and with a diverse range of cultures is a requirement of the position.
