Family Wellbeing
Our Family Wellbeing Service aims to enhance life outcomes for children and young people whose social and family circumstances place them at risk of not achieving positive social and health outcomes.
We support family/whānau to develop a plan to promote positive change, increase safety and enhance social outcomes for children, young people and their families/whānau.
Support includes engagement, assessment, goal setting, planning, interventions promoting positive change and increased safety, and enhancing social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and physical wellbeing of children, young people and their families/whānau.
Referrals
Anyone can make a referral including an individual or their whānau. Referrals may also come from local schools, community agencies, Oranga Tamariki, health providers or the Police.
Eligibility
Our Family Wellbeing Services cover the Western Bay of Plenty region
Cost
This service is free of charge for all eligible persons.
