Community Specialist Services

Respiratory Services

Our Respiratory Service is a free, community service for children and adolescents with asthma and other respiratory disorders.

This service aims to build on the strengths of children/taitamariki who have been diagnosed with asthma so that the potential for early intervention, prevention, treatment and ongoing management is maximised.

By providing education and action plans for children with asthma or other respiratory illnesses we help enable improved health outcomes for these children and their families.

Even if they did not make the original referral, we expect the child/adolescent’s GP to be informed and involved as the primary medical caregiver.

Asthma control matters. Get an action plan today!
